Devotion, a word, which embodies character, sincerity and piousness, is getting lost these days. The best way to resurrect it and express it is through Devotional Bhajans. Eternal music along with the pure and unconditional love for God completes the meaning of the word- Devotion. It is the expression of the joyous thrill that wells up from the heart when the Glory of God is remembered and sang. It is the spontaneous manifestation of inner ecstasy.
Such a divine ambience was created by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-profit spiritual organization, founded and head by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, through organizing a Devotional Concert- ‘Bhavanjali’ at Moga, Punjab on January 31st, 2016. The devotional concert started with the warm welcome of guests, spiritual singers and audience who collectively created a mesmerizing environment of divine and melodious rhythm. Chief Guests such as Mr. Vijay Dhir- President (Khatri Sabha, Moga), Dr. P N Mahajan- Sr. Surgeon (Moga) and Shri Manoj Bansal- Chairman (Satyam College of Education), graced the auspicious occasion.
The concert emphasized the importance of music as momentous connection with God. Every delightful, heart-warming and soulful song was composed and rendered by DJJS Preachers. It enticed the audience with mesmerizing rhythm, inspiring lyrics, heart-touching vibrations and ceaseless energy. The orator and preacher disciple of revered Gurudev, Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji led this devotional concert.
Devotional singing induces a desire for experiencing the truth, to get a glimpse of the inner beauty that is GOD, to taste the bliss that is ‘the Self’. It encourages man to dive into himself and be genuinely his real Self. As mentioned in the Holy Bible- “God has created a man in his own image”. And here, the devotion plays a major role in connecting a human with his inner pure self. The concert successfully served its supreme purpose by touching the right chord and helped audience introspect the purpose of being; thereby helping them to become inquisitive about themselves. By the end of the transcendent evening, the audience was fully engrossed and drenched by the words of sanguinity, a perfect platform for a new beginning.
