To find spiritual peace amid the storms of life, the spectators in Amritsar, Punjab witnessed yet another five days magnanimous event of Shiv Katha organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. The programme commenced on 17th Feb till 21st Feb, 2020. The key orator of the katha was Sadhvi Garima Bharti Ji, a preacher disciple of Maharaj Ji, who also shared the mystic wisdom of asceticism. The event started by paying homage and devotion at the lotus feet of Lord Shiva followed by a series of melodious hymns and the beats of Tandav that soaked the hearts of the audience with profound love and admiration for the Supreme Being.
Sadhvi Ji illustrated that Lord Shiva is the mighty wave in the ocean of Spirituality. He has been a subject of mystery and curiosity, sometimes ambiguity and paradox. He is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. He possesses both malignant and auspicious attributes. Further during the Katha, she unravelled the hidden characterization of the Third Eye. Lord Shiva is also known as “Tryambaka”, for the third eye placed on his forehead. Homo-sapiens mistakenly consider Shiva’s third eye as an eye of “rage and distress” whereas it is an eye of “Divine knowledge and insight”. It is a gateway that can lead an individual to inner realms and higher spaces of consciousness.
Sadhvi Ji exemplified that the third eye symbolizes a state of enlightenment that can be attained through “Brahm Gyan” (the divine light) which can only be bestowed upon us through our revered Master. Brahm Gyan elevates and calms the inner soul which then becomes free from the malice and the pessimisms that has otherwise surrounded the human kind.
During the Katha, various social initiatives stalls were also displayed by DJJS under the leadership of His Holiness. One amongst them was a stall of “Manthan”; that works towards the betterment and the uplift of the underprivileged children as they are the future of tomorrow. They are building blocks who will take this world to the pathway of success. Various art and craft items were displayed by them. Furthermore, many profound dignitaries marked their presence at this glorious event and were mesmerized by the outstanding work show-cased by the volunteers of DJJS. The spiritual program was a huge success as its instilled faith and optimism amongst the addresses.
