On the occasion of this 8th International Yoga Day 2022, DJJS, Aaoragya organized its State-of-art- ‘Vilakshan Yoga Shivirs’ not only across India by globally as well to educate people about the importance of practicing Yoga.
The Science of Yoga has been a gift given by India to the whole world for the well-being of humankind about 5,000 years ago. Nowadays, when a huge population of the world is facing physical and mental health issues, the need of the hour is to merge this ancient knowledge of yoga with recent trends and develop a holistic healthy lifestyle.
With Yoga, one can also improve their mental and physical health by practicing meditation and breathing techniques along. Yoga has several potential health benefits like - creating mental clarity and calmness, increasing body awareness, relieving chronic stress patterns, and sharpening concentration. Each Asana and Technique in Yoga helps improve flexibility, strength, balance, and harmony between Body, Mind & Soul.
When most of the younger generation is falling under the trap of psychological and emotional issues like depression, anxiety, and stress, Yoga is a potential solution for most of the prevailing mental health issues.
Therefore, DJJS under its health initiative Aarogya organized ‘Vilakshan Yog Shivir’ with the help of Yoga Experts from different areas. The yoga experts demonstrate various Yoga and Pranayama techniques, focusing on teaching the correct yoga postures and the correct technique of Meditation, derived from the science of self-realization- Brahmgyan.
