Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words Ayur (life) and Veda (science). Therefore, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. According to Ayurveda, the disease is caused by an imbalance or stress in the mind, body, and spirit. Few lifestyle changes and natural therapies can help in restoring this balance.
The holistic health program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, Aarogya follows a similar approach and promotes an integrated system of medicine to cure health-related issues via various Health camps across India, having Ayurveda-based treatment as a dominant part of it.
Continuing the same, in the month of June this year, DJJS Aaorgya organized a series of 1-day and 2-day Health camps across the state of Punjab, in cities like Kotkapura, Moga, Muktsar, and Faridkot.
And over the course of 7 Health camps across these four cities, more than 522 patients benefited from the free Ayurvedic consultations and diagnostic services offered at these camps.
Dr. Rajkumar, Dr. Harpreet Ji, and other experienced medical professionals from the Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Treatment Center who are experts in Naturopathy, Ayurveda, and other complementary and alternative medicines provided free consultations, diagnoses, and recommendations for the best medications to the patients.
Additionally, special arrangements for blood tests, BP checks, and blood sugar checks were made in the camps. People highly appreciated the efforts of DJJS Aarogya for organizing these camps.
