DJJS Amravati organized Two days ‘General Health check-up Camp’ in Buldhana district of Amravati region in Maharashtra on 17th & 18 of August 2019. The camp was aimed to facilitate health services to the visitors & attendants of the ‘Hari Katha’ organized at Bhatru Mandal, Mangal Karyalaya, Amravati. In the camp, proper medical treatment to the registered patients visiting from the surrounding villages was done and remedial measures were provided, all free of cost, including the basic medicines required for an early recovery.

During Camp the registration of the patients was handled by DJJS’s volunteers. Through this camp, curative services in terms of consultation and diagnosis were rendered by a panel of three doctors - Dr. Vijay Rane, Dr. Murlidhar Dwarkadas Kela and Dr. Kishor Digambar Ghate. A total of 215 patients were examined. Among them 42 were male and 79 were female. The numbers of children were 11. A Blood Pressure (BP) check was performed on every patient. During the health camp the most common health problem/diseases were seasonal viral fever, cough & cold, back pain, loose motion, weakness, unusual sweating, discharge from ear, hypertension, swelling, watery eyes and high/low B.P. anemia and gastric problems. And those with chronic ailments were referred to hospitals for further investigation and treatment. Also, doctors encouraged patients to incorporate & maintain hygiene, daily nutrition intake and take various preventive measures. Prescribed medicines were given free of cost to patients.
