To promote traditional methods of Ayurvedic Treatment and create awareness amongst masses on the effectiveness of Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being; Divya Jyoti jagrati Sansthan organized “नि:शुल्क आयुर्वेदिक चिकित्सा एवं परामर्श शिविर” – an ‘Ayurvedic Health checkup Camp’ at Kamal Palace, Batala Road, Amritsar, Punjab on 8th August 2021.
The chief guest Sh. Om Parkash Soni, Cabinet Minister of Punjab Govt. inaugurated the program with lamp lightening along with the presence of other eminent guests Sh. Anil Joshi (MLA, North); Sh. Ramesh Chand Sharma; Sh. Ashwani Sharma; Sh. JP Singh; Sh. Paritosh Mishra; Smt. Veenu Sharma. On this occasion, Sh. Om Parkash Soni, while addressing the audience, thanked the organization and appreciated its selfless efforts for providing Ayurvedic treatments to the reach of general masses, thus helping in creating a disease free society. Also, Dr. Parminder Singh Modgil generated awareness about the ancient system of Ayurveda and its significance especially in these times of Corona pandemic, how Ayurveda plays a vital role in enhancing the body's immune system and protecting the health of a healthy person.
Dr. Jai Prakash, Dr. Parminder Singh Moudgil, Dr. Amanpreet Singh, Dr. Randhir Singh - a team of well experienced Ayurvedic doctors from Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Treatment Centre, Nurmahal provided free consultancy and diagnosis to the registered patients for varied ailments. Special arrangements have been made in the camp for Blood-Sugar Test, BP check-up & Blood Tests.
Around 393 patients comprising of 213 men & 180 women reaped benefits in terms of diagnosis, consultation and ayurvedic medicines. Also well researched Ayurvedic medicines of SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Nurmahal, Punjab were provided to patients at concessional price. A large number of health seekers from all walks of life and age visited to inquire and buy the ayurvedic products and medicines manufactured at SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy. The event got media coverage in ‘Punjabi Jagran’, ‘Punjab Kesari’ &‘Ajeet Samaachaar’ newspapers.
