A seven day’s summer camp was organized at the Aashram premises of DJJS, Nurmahal, Punjab under the banner of Manthan-SVK, a social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan for underprivileged from 16th to 22nd June, 2016.
In this camp around 250 children of age group 8 to 15 years participated. The camp included varied activities catering to the overall development of the child as it focused on different domains of development essential in a child i.e. Physical development, Cognitive Development, Language development and Psycho-social Development.
The sessions were full of edutainment i.e. education with joy and amusement.
The activities were carried out both indoor and outdoor including guided Yoga, bi-cycle race, hit the target, few dance forms, creative plays, planting and saving environment, talent hunt, meditation and concentration boosters, short group activities or games which gave immense joy & laughter.
DJJS Preachers and disciples of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Sadhvi Manendra Bharti, Sadhvi Rajwinder Bharti, Sadhvi Rajwant Bharti, Sadhvi Renu Bharti, Sadhvi Kawal Bharti were also present as mentors all through the camp.
Children enjoyed the activities thoroughly and were happy to express as they explored their creativity and inner potential during these seven days.
Manthan SVK team was overwhelmed to know the feedback of children and parents after the camp and wishes them all-round success in life.
