To sensitize the masses on the "Harmful Effects of Tobacco and its Products" Gurgaon center of Divya Jyoti Jagarti Sansthan under the banner of the drug abuse eradication program- Bodh celebrated World No Tobacco 2015 on 31st May at Ramleela ground, Gurgaon.
Catering the mindset of about 750 people from all walks of life, Bodh Team presented a play in front of the audience, portraying the tendency of different age groups towards drugs and specially tobacco. The play well depicted the curiosity of a child, the trend amongst youths and the myths of old age. Through this enactment people understood how small packets of pan masaala and gutkha, inquisitiveness of trying once and trends following can distress a person physically, mentally and professionally. People appreciated the efforts of the organization in bringing a positive change in the society.
About the Project
Bodh- the drug abuse eradication program of DJJS, works for the elimination of drug abuse and eradication of drug demand through ‘Dhyan Therapy’ , thereby transforming the drug afflicted society into an abuse free society ; where people are mentally, emotionally and spiritually strong to safeguard themselves and the society against drug addiction and substance abuse.
