A group discussion was organized at Shri ji vatika, Pinto Park, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh with about 80 women and 10 young girls to discuss the problem of female feticide and its adverse consequences towards society.

  • Sadhvi Vinita Bharti delivered a lecture discussing the paradox of numerous Devi Bhagwat and kathas, kanya poojan organized on the eve of Navratri for 9 days, post which we resume the brutal killing of female foetuses.
  • Inviting views from audience about day to day challenges due to declining women status, the interactive session was concluded with a pledge by all the participants to join the campaign to endeavour to eliminate sex selective abortions.

The most effective avenue for social awareness that witnesses assorted crowd-Nukkad natak was conducted at 7 no Chauraha Murar, Gwalior to widely sensitize audience to the ever-worsening menace of female feticide and crime against women.

Shashkiya Prathmik Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, Hurawali, Nov 2016

An enlightening program was conducted at Shashkiya Prathmik Va Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, Hurawali Gwalior with 335 participants including students and school faculty members to educate participants on holistic empowerment of women.

  • It began with a motivating commentary that permeated the air with women glory
  • Nukkad natak, being the most popular genre for social awareness, was the pinnacle of the program. It showcased the atrocities and agony in variety encountered by a woman viz violence, discrimination and subordination leading to low status.
  • Sadhvi Vinita Bharti ji delivered a brief about Santulan-the concept, objective and strategy, its ongoing initiatives in regards to gender equity and women empowerment with reasonable emphasis on significance of education.
  • The program witnessed presence of Shri Atul Kumar Jain-Principal, Mrs. Manju Pandey-Vice Principal and other staff members.

Gurukul Vidyapeeth, Hurawali, Nov 2016

A sensitizing workshop was organized at Gurukul School, Hurawali with the objective to disseminate knowledge about girl child importance and amend the falsely created gender biased values.

  • It began with a brief on Santulan philosophy of eliminating gender disparities to establish a balanced, progressive and peaceful society through its distinct technique of self-realization.
  • An enthralling skit to display the future consequences of today's silence on rising crimes against women.
  • The program observed participation of Shri Brijesh Katare-Director, Ms. Veena Yadav-Principal, Mrs. Manju-Vice Principle and other staff members along with 100 students.

Shashkiya Prathmik & Madhyamik Vidhyalaya , Morena, Nov 19, 2016

An awareness generation session was conducted at Shashkiya Madhyamik Vidhyalaya, Banmore, Morena to educate girl students on rights possessed by them and need to create worth for oneself.

  • The program began with mesmerizing Durga stuti by volunteers
  • A gripping skit to exhibit grief of a woman due to demeaned status despite of her exemplary performances in various spheres was presented.
  • Towards the end, DJJS educative monthly publication 'Akhand Gyan' was distributed to the participants and the program was closed with a group photo.

The program was attended by Shri Shiv Kumar Singh bhadoriya-Principal, Shri Dharmendra sharma-Vice Principal and staff members along with 350 Students.
