Maharashtra, a state that is driven by international trade, entertainment, technology etc., is also struggling with the issue of women's safety. With a vision to have a reformed society, DJJS under the banner of Santulan organized an event to celebrate women's day. A mass-sensitizing 'Janjagran rally' was organised before the program spreading a word of awareness. On the day of event i.e. March 8, 2013 at Amrapali Garden, Gulmohar Road, Savedi, Ahmednagar (M.S.) on , a free Anaemia check up camp was set up for women and girls of the locality for 3 hours. Post the medical camp, a cultural program, decorated with dance performance and a skit, was arranged. It was followed by a lecture by Sadhvi Prabhuarchana Bharti, wherein she highlighted the golden history of women's accomplishments The event not just accentuated on the situation of women in contemporary Indian society, but also the reasons and repercussions of the same.
