Manthan - Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK), the holistic education initiative by DJJS under the guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, aims to ignite academic and creative prowess while nurturing skills pertinent to students' academic and career aspirations. With a meticulously designed co-curricular approach, DJJS Manthan SVK empowers students to delve into their interests and capabilities, fostering a well-rounded educational experience.
In the month of May 2024, DJJS Manthan SVK connected with more than 1670 students across the various DJJS branches globally through both its online and offline workshops. The workshops that were conducted are as follows -
Jeevan Kaushal Karyashala workshops were based on the topic Courage facilitated by Sadhvi Aneesha Bharti Ji, empower children to develop resilience and inner strength, essential traits for navigating life's obstacles and achieving personal growth.
Bharat Gaurav Gatha Aao Karein Bharat Ki Sair proudly illustrated a captivating workshop on the Spiritual sites of India. These sessions led children to embark on a journey to experience the diverse cultural and religious landmarks of India. Through engaging activities and interactive sessions, children were encouraged to explore and connect with India's profound spiritual legacy.
To instill environmental awareness and creativity in young minds, a Specialized Unit of Productive Work (SUPW) workshop focussed on the Basics of Sewing, facilitated by Manthan volunteers. By understanding the fundamentals of sewing, children developed the skills to repair and repurpose items, contributing to sustainable practices and reducing waste in their communities.
Health check-up camps were organized at Manthan SVK centers. Routine general health check-ups and nutrition programs are integral to the physical development initiatives of Manthanites. Additionally, children were taught hygiene practices and preventive health measures to ensure their overall development.
Teachers from across all the SVKs took part in the Virtual Teachers’ Meet 2024. Manthan SVK coordinators and volunteers discussed their experiences operating various centers, focusing on the challenges and solutions while teaching. With a vision to assist economically deprived communities, ideas and procedures were extensively deliberated. Lastly, methods for the upcoming academic session and lessons learned from the previous one were thoroughly considered for enhanced effectiveness.
In the spirit of giving and solidarity, DJJS Manthan SVKs' Distribution Drive served as a shining example of how collective efforts can create positive change. On that note, the stationery distribution drive took place across various DJJS Manthan SVKs in Bihar, Punjab, Delhi, Haryana and Assam.
