With a joint effort of All India Ayurved Congress, New Delhi and Ministry of Ayush, a three days ‘Ayurved Parv’ was organized from 25th to 27th November 2017 at Ayurvedic College, Patiala, Punjab. Patiala Branch of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under its holistic health initiatives ‘Aarogya’, participated in this event by putting up an Ayurveda Awareness and Promotional Counter to promote Ayurveda and sensitize masses on the effectiveness of Ayurvedic products and medicines as a natural course of complete health & well-being.

 ‘Ayurved Parv’ - a public outreach program, was intended to give 3 day exposure as well as an opportunity for health conscious citizens to have direct dialogue with Ayurved Physicians, Ayurved Research and Ayurved Institutions for better awareness for a healthy lifestyle. The program was commenced with inaugural ceremonies and conferences in the presence of eminent and honorable guests - Shri Brahm Mohindra, Health and Family Welfare minister of Punjab; Vaidya Sh. Devendra Triguna, President of the Association of Manufacturers of Ayurvedic Medicine (AMAM) and the All India Ayurvedic Congress (AIAC)); Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Director Ayurveda Punjab; Sh. Vikas Partap Singh, Vice Chancellor of Guru Ravidas Ayurvedic University, Patiala; Dr. Harjot Kamal, MLA Moga; Sh. Rajinder Singh, MLA Tarn Taran; Dr. Ashwani Kumar, Principal, Govt. Ayurveda College of Patiala and others.  

In DJJS Ayurveda Awareness and Promotional Counter, Ayurvedic products and medicines manufactured by Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji (SAM) Ayurvedic Pharmacy in Nurmahal, Jalandhar were put on display and sale. SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy has been manufacturing manufactures more than 900 ayurvedic medicines and health care products. Apart from a crowd of general public, a large number of health seekers, inquisitors, students, ayurvedic doctors and medical professionals specifically visited the counter and showed keen interest in knowing about Ayurveda and buying Ayurvedic medicines and products like Chyawanprash, Herbal tea, Aloe vera juice, Amla juice, honey, Asthivajra, Kshudhavardak, Sanshishool, etc. DJJS volunteers extended this knowledge to inquisitive and enquiring visitors at the counter.

According to Swami Gyaneshanand ji, who has been coordinating at the Stall, told that Health Minister Shri Brahm Mohindra specially visited our stall and appreciated SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy for doing an excellent job to promote Ayurveda. Also Dr. Rakesh Sharma, Director Ayurveda Punjab visited the stall and enquired about various ayurvedic medicines on display.
