DJJS Phagwara branch in Punjab organized one day ‘Mega Ayurvedic Health check-up and consultation Camp’ at Khalwara Road, Baba Ghadia, Shiv Mandir on 16th March 2017.  The chief guest Mr. Ramesh Mahajan inaugurated the camp and appreciated DJJS for taking this initiative for the welfare of the society. The other eminent guests Sh. Shiv Honda and Sh. Satish Bagga from RSS also congratulated sansthan for organizing an event of social benefit. The honorable guests were felicitated with the literature of Sansthan.

On this occasion, Dr. Harpreet Singh addressed the gathering so as to generate awareness and motivate ancient system of Ayurvedic Treatment and its benefits. Also Dr. Jai Prakash educated people that the ayurvedic medicines are mainly prepared from herbs and plants and the main advantage of Ayurvedic medicine is that they do not contain any harmful ingredients and can be used safely with no side effects.

During the 5 hour long camp, free consultancy and diagnosis was provided to around 651 patients (225 males, 350 females and 176 children) by the eminent ayurvedic doctors - Dr. Jai Prakash, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Sashi Prakash, Dr. Shalokya Bharti and Vaid Kripal ji of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ayurvedic Treatment Centre, Nurmahal. A large number of health seekers from all walks of life and age visited the camp. Facilities such as blood sugar test and blood pressure check-up were also available in the camp. Well researched Ayurvedic medicines of SAM Ayurveda Pharmacy of Divya Jyoti Foundation were provided to patients at concessional prices.
