Salutations to Sri Krishna, the Lord of Gopis, the charioteer of Arjuna, the destroyer of sins, the teacher of mankind, who is an embodiment of Bliss, who is the Universe itself and who bore the Govardhana hill on the tip of His little finger.
We can even count the stars and the particles of sand in the seashore but it is not possible to count the marvelous and heroic deeds and glorious actions of Sri Krishna, the Lord of the three worlds. Lord Krishna personified how to keep balance amidst difficult situations by concentrating on your goal. Today’s world is in great need of such valuable teachings which can mold the people’s mind to the path of righteousness and towards the divinity of supreme bliss.
In order to replenish the minds of devotees with the divine secrets behind Lord Krishna’s divine acts, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) under the divine guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Head & Founder – DJJS), organized 9 days Shrimad Bhagwat Katha from 28th October to 5th November, 2017, at Ludhiana, Punjab.
The program commenced by extending warm welcome to all guests. Humble prayer at the lotus feet of Lord Krishna marked the beginning of spiritual taste in the program. Series of devotional bhajans aligned with melodious rhythm kept he audience engrossed. Inspirational lyrics tuned with devotion touched the hearts of audience and encouraged each one to embrace the path of truth and continue to follow it in order to make their life a success.
Sadhvi Bhagyashri Bharti Ji, disciple of Gurudev Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, orator of the event, beautifully narrated the Katha with supportive instances from scriptures. These profound messages were not mere stories from the life of Lord Krishna but carried profound meanings. The orator encouraged each one to realize their hidden potential through the divine light of Supreme Knowledge just like Arjuna did and then there was no looking back. Arjuna continued to follow the instructions and guidance of his master and achieved great success in Mahabharata war.
Sadhvi Ji spoke and explained the significance of Brahm Gyan (Divine knowledge), which is the essence of the Katha. Shrimad Bhagwat Gita in itself is the major testimony which states that the Perfect Master is analogous to the touchstone which can transmute iron into gold. Similarly, the Perfect Master of the time initiates the seekers into the Brahm Gyan, to successfully challenge one’s negativities. Lord Krishna also illuminated how the divine knowledge of Brahm Gyan is imperative for one to become socially and morally responsible. This knowledge inculcates in a human the feelings of benevolence and compassion that ultimately leads them towards the welfare of society. The modern era also needs the nourishment of this divine technique to set one free from evils and attain the stage of social transformation.
The Katha concluded with holy Aarti of Lord Krishna. The devotees were exalted with the divine renditions and euphonious rhythms emanating from the hearts of the selfless disciples of His Highness. The program was highly appreciated and served its supreme purpose of making people aware about their purpose in life. Thousands of people across the districts marked their presence and enjoyed the divine nectar of Brahm Gyan through Bhagwat Katha.
