Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, under its health initiatives ‘Aarogya’, organized an Ayurvedic Health Checkup Camp on 26th September 2016 at Sukhija Palace, Tarn Taran in Punjab. The camp was inaugurated by Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti, Ms. Sarabjeet Kaur Batth (Chairperson, Improvement Trust, Punjab) and Sh. Jasvant Singh Padda (District Head, BJP). On this occasion, guests Dr. Rataal Pathania, Dr. Manvinder Kaur, Dr. Sher Singh, Dr. T. D. Gupta, Dr. Gyanchand, Dr. Harpreet, Sh. Manjit Singh, Sh. Mukesh Gupta, and Sh. Aadesh Agnihotri were also present.

 Sadhvi  Sumedha Bharti addressed the gathering so as to generate awareness and motivate ancient system of Ayurvedic Treatment and its benefits. She said that the ayurvedic medicines are mainly prepared from herbs and plants and the main advantage of Ayurvedic medicine is that they do not contain any harmful ingredients and can be used safely with no side effects.

A three hour long Ayurvedic Health checkup camp was organized; eminent Ayurvedic experts (Ayuvedacharyas) provided free consultancy and diagnosis to more than 400 patients with ailments diabetes, asthma, back pain, arthritis, constipation, migraine, etc.  Special arrangements have been made in the camp to check the blood pressure and blood sugar. In addition, Ayurvedic products manufactured by SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Nurmahal were also put on sale.

There was an over whelming response from the people. The event got media coverage by newspapers 'Dainik Bhaskar', ‘Punjabi Jagran’ and 'Ajeet'.
