Children are constantly learning new information and assimilation plays an important role in how to encounter this knowledge and interpret these experiences to the existing ideas about the world around them. Through educational excursions, students define education through their personal experiences in an open environment. Through this process, students get oriented on how to live in a community, develop leadership qualities and the feeling of self-confidence and brotherhood are strengthened.
Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra is a social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS), through its holistic approach of personality development by providing value-based and free education to the underprivileged children of the society for many years. Manthan SVK, has always endeavored to introduce its students to new experiences of life.
With this concatenation, Manthan SVK, organized an educational visit on 13th April, 2022 to the Atal Tinkering Laboratory at the Darbari Lal DAV Model School (D.L.D.A.V), Pitampura in which 26 students had the opportunity to be part of this academic excursion.
D.L.D.A.V school teachers and students warmly received Manthanites. The school introduced the students to the 3-D Lab and Scientific Park which boosted their enthusiasm. Models related to physics like periodic table, experiments of motion were shown and explained at the Scientific Park. Thereafter, students attempted experiments related to light, magnet etc.; in the physics laboratory. Students were also taken to the 3-D laboratory and 3-D presentations of biology, chemistry and physics were displayed on the screen. Following which the students learned to make 3-D images at the Atal Tinkering Laboratory.
Towards the end of the educational tour, on behalf of all Manthan SVK, DJJS, family, the Manthanites thanked the D.L.D.A.V school management for this wonderful opportunity.
