Employee engagement activities encourage knowledge sharing in a creative way. Sapient India Pvt. Ltd. engages its employees in corporate volunteering with NGO’s to understand their social responsibilities towards the upliftment of the society. In the series of such events organized with Manthan SVK, a social initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, Sapient CSR team celebrated Diwali with Manthan kids of Gurugram center on 25th Oct, 2016. It was a 2 hour event wherein 11 employees from Sapient did varied activities with kids like painting and decorating earthen diyas, sharing stories in audio-visuals related to the significance of the festival, several competitions ending up with a pledge ceremony to celebrate a pollution free, noise free and cracker free Diwali.
Students were distributed with drawing books, water colours, earthen diyas, paints and sweets during the activities by the Sapient employees.
Sapient India Pvt. Ltd. also contributed for the cause by providing 100 wooden tables for the kids of Gurugram center. Manthan SVK , DJJS appreciates the significant efforts and contribution of Sapient for upbringing the education standards of underprivileged children and helping bring positive changes in the society.
