The National Science Centre is an institute engaged in the popularization of science among the people of India in general and among the students in particular.
In efforts to develop a scientific temperament in our students, raise scientific awareness and regularly organise educational programmes for the benefit of our students and teachers, Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra organised an educational excursion to the National Science Centre on the 6th of September, 2017. Sapient Consulting Pvt. Ltd. volunteered and funded. 35 Manthanites and 10 teachers took part in the fun day full of science.
The children saw all the galleries enthusiastically and had loads of curiosity and questions in each of them, from the Technology Heritage Gallery, Information Revolution Gallery, Human Biology Gallery and Prehistoric Life Gallery to the Fun Science Gallery, Emerging Technologies Gallery, Water: The Elixir Of Life Gallery and the Hall Of Nuclear Power. The Centre was a treasure of science filled information and activities.
Encouraging inquisitive minds to think of innovative ideas by display and demonstration of progress and achievements in various fields of science and technology was our main motive. "Learning To Do", "Learning Through Fun" were our main motto behind.
Discussions were also held with children about how to preserve, conserve and promote the scientific heritage of our country. The immensely informative and thought provoking day definitely served its purpose by opening new avenues for thinking and pondering for our young minds.
Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra regularly conducts such excursions and aims to give the best to the children. In this light we pay our immense gratitude in the feet of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharajji who is and will always be our guiding light.
