integration of value-centric education, experiential learning and cultural enrichment, Manthan SVK continues to shape conscientious individuals equipped not only with knowledge but with wisdom, compassion and courage.

In May 2025, Manthan SVK once again made a meaningful impact across its nationwide network of DJJS branches by hosting an inspiring array of online and offline sessions, reaching over 3365 students. The workshops that were conducted are as follows -

Sanskarshala sessions organized by dedicated Manthan SVK volunteers thoughtfully explored the theme Kshama Sanskarshala – द्वितीय धर्म लक्षणम्, focusing on the virtue of forgiveness (kshama) as the second defining trait of Dharma. Through thought-provoking stories, reflective discussions and interactive activities, students were guided to understand how forgiveness fosters inner peace, emotional strength and harmonious relationships, empowering them to rise above anger and respond with compassion.

Jeevan Kaushal Karyashala workshops, focused on First Aid, which was conducted to equip students with essential life-saving skills. The session focused on practical techniques such as handling minor injuries, performing CPR, managing burns, cuts and responding to emergencies with confidence and presence of mind. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, students learned the importance of quick action and calm decision-making during critical situations. This workshop not only empowered them with vital health knowledge but also instilled a sense of responsibility and readiness to assist others in times of need.

As part of the Bharat Gaurav Gatha - Aao Karein Bharat Ki Sair series, Manthanites virtually embarked on a sacred journey through the Char Dham—Badrinath, Dwarka, Puri and Rameshwaram—four spiritual pillars that define Bharat’s divine geography. Through engaging visuals and captivating narratives, they explored the historical, cultural and spiritual significance of each pilgrimage site. This immersive session ignited a sense of national pride, spiritual curiosity and reverence for India’s timeless spiritual legacy.

A virtual workshop that shapes young minds into Vedic geniuses unfolded its edition titled Me and Meera. Centred on the fearless devotion of saint-poetess Meera Bai, the session engaged children through captivating stories, interactive quizzes, short films and value-based discussions, inspiring them to embrace purity, faith and inner strength.

In a hands-on session under the Specialised Unit of Productive Work (SUPW) initiative, the theme Nature and Gardening invited children to roll up their sleeves and engage with the green world around them. From planting seeds to crafting eco-friendly planters, the workshop nurtured a sense of environmental responsibility, patience and joy in watching life bloom.

Manthan SVK consistently prioritises capacity-building by organising Skill Development Workshops, offering enriching learning opportunities for both teachers and volunteers. Teacher-Volunteer Training sessions are thoughtfully designed to sharpen pedagogical skills, focus on enhancing value-based communication and creative engagement techniques, ensuring every mentor is well-equipped to guide children with confidence, compassion and clarity.

DJJS Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra (SVK) regularly organizes Health Camps as part of its commitment to the overall well-being of children and the surrounding community. One such Eye Camp was conducted to provide essential eye check-ups, vision screenings and awareness on eye care and hygiene. Led by qualified professionals, the camp ensured early detection of vision issues and promoted healthy visual habits among children, reinforcing Manthan’s holistic approach to child development.

Amidst the vibrant halls of Manthan SVKs, Birthday celebrations echoed with laughter and joy, fostering a spirit of unity and togetherness as children created lasting memories. These heartwarming moments not only brought smiles to young faces but also reinforced a sense of belonging and community within the learning environment.

Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) were held to strengthen communication between parents and educators, offering a collaborative platform to review academic progress, share feedback and support each child’s holistic development through a united home-school partnership. These sessions played a crucial role in building trust and aligning efforts toward each child’s overall well-being.

Art & Craft sessions at Manthan SVK served as a vibrant outlet for creativity and expression, allowing children to explore their imagination through engaging hands-on activities like drawing, paper folding and DIY crafts. These sessions nurtured fine motor skills, focus and emotional expression, making learning both joyful and meaningful.

In a remarkable display of compassion, DJJS Manthan SVK organized a Distribution Drive, providing essential books and uniforms to underprivileged children. This thoughtful initiative not only supported their educational journey but also addressed the broader needs of students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, standing as a symbol of inclusivity and empowerment.

To further expand its outreach, Surveys for New Students were diligently conducted by volunteers to identify and enrol children from underserved communities. This proactive effort ensured that the gift of holistic education reached every deserving child, reaffirming Manthan SVK’s commitment to leaving no learner behind.
