Sanskarshala is one of its kind monthly workshops that are organized for children aged 4 to 12 years by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s holistic education program Manthan-SVK. The theme for January month’s Sanskarshala was ‘Gaurvanvit’ Sanskarshala.
In the month of January 2023, 55 workshops were conducted that benefited 3984 children across India. Gaurvanvit Sanskarshalas were held in DJJS branches as well as in various schools and spiritual institutions across India.
Each workshop session started with the group recitation of Shukla Yajurvediya Rudrashtadhyayi by children and volunteers. The preachers of DJJS took over to explain the difference between feeling proud versus breeding arrogance or holding grudges in ourselves. How the students should do selfless deeds for the betterment of our nation Bharat and not for one's own benefit. How one should actually be eager for the services to uplift one’s society and its welfare. Our nation has the richest natural, spiritual, cultural and architectural history in the world. Bharat doesn't start or end with the Taj Mahal. From the Hanging Pillar of Veerabhadra Temple, to the grand walls of Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan, India is full of spiritual and architectural wonders that are yet to be recognized. Students were awestruck after hearing about the gems that our nation holds. After this, the volunteers conducted a round of quiz and answered all the queries kids had. The session brought an immense sense of pride and joy amongst the kids. They felt elated and proud to be born in culturally and spiritually rich- Bharat and were motivated to work for the betterment of the society and not just as individuals. The workshops concluded with prayers thanking gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji for his divine blessings.
