DJJS Jodhpur branch, Rajasthan organized ‘‘निःशुल्क आयुर्वेदिक स्वास्थ्य एवं चिकित्सा शिविर’ – a one day Ayurvedic Health checkup Camp on 22nd April 2017 for the Rural populace of village Modee Joshiyan to promote Ayurvedic treatments and create awareness in them about Ayurveda as a natural course of complete health & well-being.
One week before the Ayurvedic camp, a team of DJJS volunteers went for canvasing and distribution of pamphlets. The pamphlets provide detailed information about the Ayurvedic camp, its venue, time and the available medical facilities.
On the day of camp, the registration of patients was handled by DJJS volunteers. Along with paramedical staff for BP check-up and medicines distribution, two Ayurvedic doctors (ayurvedacharyas) availed their services in diagnosing more than 70 patients and refer them the required ayurvedic medications. During five hour of the camp 45 men & 25 women were registered and were given free consultation and diagnosis through Ayurvedic procedures and modern method for various ailments.
Also well researched Ayurvedic medicines of SAM Ayurvedic Pharmacy at Nurmahal, Punjab were provided to patients at concessional price. A large number of health seekers from nearby villages came to inquire and buy the ayurvedic products and medicines.
