Free homeopathic medicines for prevention of swine flu were distributed during swine flu awareness generation in Nagpur at Hanuman Ganesh Mandir, Durga Nagar, one of the busiest areas. During 3 hours around 255 people thronged the information counter and were sensitized regarding prevention of swine flu through individual counselling, medicine and informative handouts. Dr. Sudhir Gupta (a homeopathic doctor) while distributing medicine informed that homeopathic pills had always proved effective deterrents against mass epidemics like swine flu and these pills are safe and can be consumed by people of all ages, including child in arms. The three-dose course spread over three days is considered the best preventive method at present. He appealed to the people to shun panic and take the homeopathic medicine without any fear, as they are “absolutely safe and effective without any side effects.”
