Lord Rama incarnated on this earth not only to save it from demons like Ravana, Meghnath or Kumbhkarana, but also to set an example of selfless living. The great epic Ramayana expresses the valor of Lord Rama. Ram Katha is the saga, which showcases not only the victory of good over evil, but also narrates the divine love between the Lord and his devotees.
Under the guidance of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, a five days Ram Katha program was organized in Sri Muktsar Sahib, Punjab from 25th Feb’18 to 1st Mar’18. Katha Orator and DJJS preacher, Sadhvi Sachi Bharti Ji in her powerful discourse spoke about the exemplary life of Lord Rama. He not only set an example of a dutiful son, but also a great and dedicated husband, loving and caring brother and an exceptional king, that’s why Lord Rama is worshipped as Maryada Purushottam.
Sadhvi Ji emphasized the benefits of listening to Lord Rama’s Katha, it not only leaves one inspired and motivated, but also raises an individual’s state of self-consciousness. Since Lord Rama was the physical manifestation of the Supreme Divine Power, no one can possibly articulate His dynamic personality, however, every time one listen’s to this Katha, it reveals the path to bliss and liberation.
Sadhvi Ji made everyone understand the real purpose of all the Divine incarnations of the Supreme Power on this earth, which is to make human-beings realize their true self, which would in turn, bring peace and bliss to every human being, which eventually would bring peace to the world.
This self-realization or Brahm Gyan (Divine Knowledge), connects one to one’s soul, the Divine power within, which then leads to a healthy mind and body. However, without a spiritual guru, one cannot achieve this Divine Knowledge. In fact, Lord Rama, who was the Divine himself, too got initiated into this Divine Knowledge by His Spiritual Guru- Vashistha Muni. This act of the Lord was to emphasize the significance of a Guru on one’s spiritual journey. Without a Perfect Spiritual Master, no one can ever experience the divinity within, which is the ultimate knowledge- the Divine Knowledge.
Ram Katha is a beautiful platform to understand the enriching lessons from the life of Lord Rama. Not only the Lord but His most dedicated devotees like Hanuman, Lakshman, Bharat, Kewat, Ahilya etc., their lives also are an inspiration. Ram Katha shows the importance of spiritual devotion and love, over worldly riches.
During the Katha, Sadhvi ji also spoke about, Satguru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, who is a Perfect Spiritual Master of the present times. She spoke at length about Maharaj Ji’s mission, which has thousands of devotees all over the globe, working tirelessly, spreading the message of Brahm Gyan and peace. Brahm Gyan is the only technique through which one can see the ‘Divine Light’ within oneself. Meditating on this ‘Divine Light’ regularly, strengthens one spiritually, which eventually creates lasting mental and emotional strength. Maharaj Ji’s mission is to establish ‘World Peace’ by spiritually enlightening all the humans.
