With the objective to instill the principles of truth and righteousness in school students, by the profuse elegance and guidance of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) organized an exhilarating ‘Lecture Sessions’ for the students at DAV Sen Sec. School and S D Bihani School, Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan on February 4th and February 7th 2020. The lecture intended to promote the moral, emotional and psycho-spiritual quotient of the kids. The DJJS representative conducted a series of simulation activities for the kids challenging their creative and cognitive side.
In the current digital era, the kids and youth belonging to Generation Z and Generation Alpha are the most diverse, ambitious, adventurous, adaptable, liberal-minded and well educated. But paradoxically the kids today are facing multiple critical life challenges right from an early age. These challenges are basically related to transition issues, relationships, family or academics. Therefore it is high time to reconstitute modern education mechanism on the basis of ethos or values. Today’s education system moulds individual and technocrats but not good citizens. Morally upright quality education is a crucial instrument for attaining a more sustainable environment which calls for Values Integration in the existing learning methodology.
DJJS representative emphasized that since moral conduct sticks with a person for life, there is a need to advocate the teaching of ethical values in our learning institutions to counter the bad influences of society and to prepare the younger generation to be good stakeholders of society. Values Integration aims at redesigning the educational curriculum in such a manner that it includes sessions on Sanskrit and Vedic Science primarily to re-connect the students to their spiritual and cultural roots.
The DJJS representative apprised the students about the Yogic postures and breathing techniques along with the spiritual science behind it. The kids were also shown motivational videos and life-inspiring stories were discussed in order to motivate them. The fundamentals of Yogic science and introspection were simplified along with a group mediation session after which the students seemed to be relaxed and happy.
The DJJS representative concluded that Meditation empowers students to subdue their confusions, doubts, addictions and attain a state of perfect bliss. It is the perfect medium to understand and imbibe the elevated principles of Values Integration. His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is a divine mentor who has brought about an inner revolution in kids at the conscious level through the instrument of Brahm Gyan. The technique of Meditation is a unique anxiety buster and introduces positive vigour in an individual. This mindfulness can be learned through the defined scientific technique of meditation empowered by self-realization. Morally upright quality education is a crucial instrument for attaining a more sustainable environment. At the end of the lecture, the kids felt rejuvenated, infused with positive energy awakened mind and intellect.
