Shrimad Bhagwat Gita revelations in its entirety can dawn upon only to an awakened being elevated to the supra-mental plane of consciousness. Without practical, theory is not capable of producing desired results. Bhagwat Gita is the greatest guide on how to live a balanced life with a concrete purpose. It teaches laws of karma, how to attain devotion for Lord, Morality, values and freedom.

To commemorate the pious text, DJJS was invited to deliver lecture on Gita and Management at workshop organized by Hindu Cultural Association at Gold Coast Australia on 24th Aug 2019. Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) with the grace of H.H Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (founder and head of DJJS) garnered huge attention at the event not only because of its unique interactive activities designed to explain concepts of Gita but also due to the lecture delivered by one of its nuanced orator Sadhvi Om Prabha Bharti Ji.

Some eminent members of Association also graced the event with their presence such as Dr Kartik Menon (President, Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association) and Dr Sunil Sharma (Vice President, Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association). Sadhvi Ji stated the essence of Bhagavad Gita in simple yet effective words. She explained that various theories of management, motivation, planning is given by modern intellectuals today. Bhagvad Gita does the same but it tackles the issue at the very root of human thinking while modern concepts and theories discuss the problem at the external material level.

Today the definition of successful being for us is – A person who’s highly intellectual, with lot of wealth, one with great position or person of repute. There’s no space given to morality, values or ethics in definition, these are no longer important to us but Bhagwat Gita tells us success means not only to achieve material gain but to attain God, be self-realized, be connected to Supreme and experience the change within.

She also stated that verbal instructions and assurances from Lord Krishna couldn’t pacify Arjuna and his agitated, confused, wavering mind kept on raising questions though the answering authority was Lord Himself. From chapter one to ten, Lord replied to plethora of questions posed by Arjuna. It was only when Lord blessed him with the Divine eye to enable him to see Lord’s cosmic form that the Arjuna was elevated by the light of immortal self and he immediately picked up his bow to fight for the cause of righteousness.

Sagacity lies in combining the reading of scriptures with the practical experience of Divine otherwise, reading becomes fruitless, ritualistic affair and incapable of bringing inner transformation in an aspirant. For practical experience, we need abode of a Perfect Spiritual Master. His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji is such a Perfect master today who can generate this inner transformation in a being by the power of divine knowledge. Sadhvi Ji’s insights kept everyone engrossed and were highly appreciated by dignitaries present there.
