‘In order to approach a creation as sublime as the Bhagavad-Gita with full understanding, it is necessary to attune our soul to it.’ Said Rudolph Steiner. Such deep insightful thought doesn’t belong only to that ancient time but every age and for every being in same way as the divinity is beyond time. Shrimad Bhagwat Gita revelations in its entirety can dawn upon only to an awakened being elevated to the supra-mental plane of consciousness. Without practical, theory is not capable of producing desired results. Bhagwat Gita is the greatest guide on how to live a balanced life with a concrete purpose. It teaches laws of karma, how to attain devotion for Lord, Morality, values and freedom.
To commemorate the pious text, DJJS was invited to deliver lecture on Gita and Management at workshop organized by Hindu Cultural Association at Gold Coast Australia on 24th Aug 2019. Some eminent members of Association also graced the event with their presence such as Dr Kartik Menon (President, Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association) and Dr Sunil Sharma (Vice President, Gold Coast Hindu Cultural Association). Bhagvad Gita does the same but it tackles the issue at the very root of human thinking while modern concepts and theories discuss the problem at the external material level.
Today the definition of successful being for us is – A person who’s highly intellectual, with lot of wealth, one with great position or person of repute. There’s no space given to morality, values or ethics in definition, these are no longer important to us but Bhagwat Gita tells us success means not only to achieve material gain but to attain God, be self-realized, be connected to Supreme and experience the change within.
She also stated that verbal instructions and assurances from Lord Krishna couldn’t pacify Arjuna and his agitated, confused, wavering mind kept on raising questions though the answering authority was Lord Himself. From chapter one to ten, Lord replied to plethora of questions posed by Arjuna. It was only when Lord blessed him with the Divine eye to enable him to see Lord’s cosmic form that the Arjuna was elevated by the light of immortal self and he immediately picked up his bow to fight for the cause of righteousness.
