DLF Club, Gurugram, Haryana organized a grand Christmas Carnival event on 18th Dec 2016. Apart from the event activities a social tenor was the inclusive part of the festive celebration. Approximately 30 children from different NGO have participated in the event among which 15 participants were from Manthan SVK, Gurugram center. The event started with a drawing competition. Glad to share that among the 5 winners of the drawing competition, 3 Manthanites Rupa, Anjali and Nikita bagged the prizes.
The drawing competition was followed by an enthralling dance on the song “itti si hassi” and a skit giving a strong message on the importance of education especially the girl child education. The performances were well applauded and appreciated by one and all. The viewers at the carnival were highly impressed by the hidden talents prevalent in the children and the efforts of Manthan SVK program of DJJS in upbringing and developing the complete personalities of the children.
