Marcus Garvey once said “People without the knowledge of their past history, origin and culture are like a tree without roots.” In today's modern yet chaotic world, it is of great importance for one to know and deeply embrace the roots of their motherland. With modernisation and digitization, we are able to know anything and everything at the ease of our fingertips. But with this ease comes a heavy price of becoming ignorant of our culture and history, the roots of our very own existence.
It is extremely essential for the kids today, who are the country’s future to know about their culture and because of whose sacrifice they are here today. Keeping this in mind, Manthan, SVK organised various motivational and inspirational sessions emphasising on the importance of Indian heritage, it's deep cultural and spiritual roots. Thesr online sessions include various topics like Indian freedom fighters, scientists, famous discoveries, famous poets like Sant Kabir Das and Meera Bai and influencial Indian culture and its deep rooted value system. The classes were extremely educational and informative and were enjoyed by the students a lot.
Roland Joffee once said “ Indian culture certainly gives the Indian mind, including the mind of the Indian scientist, the ability to think out of the box.” Children today must embrace their rich Indian culture and history and move forward with great pride.
