Women's accomplishments and shine in all spheres perhaps need not be highlighted. However, these earnings fall short when it comes to their overall status and recognition resulting in female fetus killing. To bring change in this critical situation, DJJS, under its Gender Equality Program-"Santulan" is organizing awareness walks across the nation with a vision of total transformation in existing societal pattern and elimination of all forms of discrimination and violence against women particularly sex selective abortions. In the same series, an awareness walk was organized in Allahabad on August 8, 2014 to sow a seed of change.
