The word ‘Devi’ has arrived from root word ‘Div’ which means to illuminate. Devi Maa establishes herself in the lives of all beings as a source of light which transforms us from ignorance to knowledge. To spread the message of peace initiated by Devi Maa, Mata Ki Chowki was organised by DJJS at Sangrur, Punjab on 13th October, 2018. Sadhvi Manglawati Bharti Ji was the main speaker seated in the podium along with other disciples of Sadguru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
In her discourse, Sadhvi Ji spoke of the importance of a worldly mother to a child and how she has the most significant position in the upbringing and development of an individual. The divine mother is the one who bestows on all human beings the affection of all worldly mothers put together. Devi Maa’s love does not make a person weak rather it gives the strength to fight the conflicts, the psychological disturbances, mental fragments which are prevalent in society today.
In Mata Ki Chowki, glory of the divine mother is sung and this depicts the regards that our culture gives to the feminine gender. It is symbolic of the fact that just as Devi Maa destroys all evils and demons to establish peace and sense of security, all females of the earth should be treated with respect so that human race can progress in the positive and developmental path. There were numerous devotional songs on Devi Ma and all devotees were dancing in joy to the holy music. Mata Ki Chowki has cultural significance as it marks friendship and happiness growing among communities. There are numerous dance forms which are on display and families get together all staying awake till late night and enjoying the spirit of freedom of soul. Sadhvi Ji and team mesmerized the audience with soul stirring music and songs. There were loud slogans hailing the name of almighty.
Sadhvi Ji further said when a devotee approaches a Guru with true sincerity; Guru blesses the disciple with divine knowledge (Brahm Gyan)- the pinnacle of realization of the self. The disciple then understands what unconditional love and boundless bliss is all about. Hence Guru is superior to all mothers as Guru introduces a seeker with light and brings about transformation in its life.
The righteousness in one’s nature evolves when one practices the technique of Brahm Gyan. Brahm Gyan balances the strength and nature elements of one’s mind. Hence the masculine and feminine components which are present in every person are in equal proportion, this gives rise to a superior human being who is fearless in nature and righteous in approach. The atmosphere was propounded by spiritual bliss and harmony.
