In reverence to the mothers of the yore as well as the resilient mothers of contemporary times, DJJS Santulan, the Gender Equality and Women Empowerment initiative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan(DJJS), held multifarious Pan-India events from 1st May to 31st May 2025 under its annual Mother’s Day campaign, Matri Shakti Tubhyam Namah.

Noida, Chandigarh, Kurukshetra, Dungarpur, Chakan, Patna, Saharsa, and Dibrugarh were among the many locations where these events were organised, witnessing enthusiastic participation from hundreds of mothers and their daughters. The celebrations featured a wide array of engaging activities, panel discussions, cultural performances, and inspirational talks delivered by the Sanyasin Sadhvis of DJJS, disciples of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. Lives and tales of Rajmata Jijabai, Queen Madalsa, Suniti, brought alive exemplary models of motherhood, mothers who nurtured visionaries, upheld dharma, and shaped the moral compass of generations.
Through enjoyable yet thought-provoking activities, the events opened conversations around the realities mothers navigate daily, ceaseless invisible unaccounted labour, the exhausting juggle of women caught in the Superwoman Syndrome, the unspoken desire for a supportive home environment etc.

This year, Santulan also offered two special tributes to womanhood: First is a soulful lyrical presentation conceptualised, written, and composed by the Santulan team,“Hey Nari, Tu Ab Maa Ban, Ramanaa Nahi.” And second is an inspiring story on Hirakani Bai, a courageous mother from the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who braved a dangerous cliff at Raigad Fort to reach her infant son. Her legacy lives on through the Hirakani Burj built in her honour. Read the full story on https://www.djjs.org/blog/hirkani-burj-story-of-a-mothers-valour.
Across all events, participants shared that the song’s lyrics evoked goosebumps, touching a deep emotional chord. Rooted in Indian scriptures, the music piece highlights the two dimensions of womanhood: Maa (compassion, courage, spiritual evolution) and Ramanaa (allure and outward charm). These creations serve as a profound invocation urging women to rise beyond appearances and embody their higher, empowered PRO version of womanhood.
Guided by Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji’s vision, DJJS Santulan asserts that true societal rebuilding, rooted in compassion, empathy, respect, and gratitude requires the spiritual evolution of women. Through Brahmagyan, the Eternal Science of Self-Realisation, women can awaken their inner strength and become catalysts of positive change in families, society, and the nation. A spiritually awakened woman nourishes a generation grounded in Indian values and principles.
Moving beyond conventional empowerment models, DJJS Santulan works at the fundamental level, awakening women spiritually. Over the last two decades, it has reached millions through mass awareness campaigns, sensitisation workshops, and leadership programmes. Today, more than 6.5 lakh women and girls across rural and urban India are empowered to lead with confidence, dignity, and values and advancing gender equality and inclusive development in alignment with United Nation’s SDG goals (SDG-5).
Under the divine guidance of Divya Guru Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, DJJS continues its mission of establishing universal peace, equality, and brotherhood through multidimensional social reform programmes spanning gender sensitisation, education, drug abuse eradication, environment conservation, community health, disaster relief, and prisoner reformation.
