Donating is a selfless act. Giving is the greatest act of Grace. It has been very well said that “Your greatness is not what you have, it’s what you give”. Donation of any kind is appreciable. But when it comes to contributing in someone’s health, it is considered a great act. Such a contribution was made by three volunteers of Spherule Foundation on 27th May 2019 at Patel Nagar centre of Manthan-SVK. Manthan-SVK, an initiative by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan which is working relentlessly for the benefit of underprivileged children of the society focus on the education as well as overall development of the children. To ensure good health of the children, Manthan SVK organizes many health camps on a regular basis.
The volunteers distributed Vitamin A medicines to the students. They also distributed the deworming medicine to the children. Deworming medicine is suggested to all the children to protect them from various worms such as roundworm, tapeworm and fluke worm. All the children were ecstatic that the volunteers were there to take care of their health. Volunteers also enjoyed interacting with the students and pledged to revisit the centre to keep in touch with the children.
