MEMR Ludhiana chapter| Inculcating pro- environmental thinking through thought- provoking poster exhibition

Ludhiana, Punjab. The much called for environmental revolution of the age demands humanity to start thinking pro- environmentally. Experts say, “Environment does not occur in isolation, infact it is any and everything surrounding us, how we deal with our surroundings defines our impact on environment.” Unfortunately, humanity is ignorant about its innate connection with the environment. For this reason ignorant human action has led to the current disastrous state of environment. To steer human action towards pro- environmental action, pro- environmental thinking stands as an essential pre- requisite.

Upholding the same, DJJS Sanrakshan led MEMT Ludhiana Chapter organised a public exhibition of thought provoking environmental posters at Jain Colony, Rahon Road, Ludhiana. The 5- day exhibition attracted hundreds of men, women and children. As they walked through the exhibition MEMR Nature conservators sensitized them regarding the pressing environmental concerns and motivated them towards shouldering their responsibility towards environment.

Mr. Sharanjeet Singh Dhillon, MLA; Mr. Harikamal Khosla, Industrialist; Ms. Leena Taparia; Mr. Daljeet Singh Grewal; Mr. Vikramjeet Singh and Mr.  Rajat Chaddha were special guests who visited the exhibition and stamped their support towards the DJJS led My Earth My Responsibility Campaign.
