The remarkable tradition of Guru-Shishya Parampara is one of the signatures of the rich Indian culture. History remains a witness of this tradition, amongst many other meaningful ones that have stood strong since the Vedic times. Part of such tradition is satsang or sermon portion in which the disciple gains valuable lessons from the master. While the disciple feels immense pleasure in gaining cherish-able knowledge, master too feels honored in imparting knowledge to disciples who have the zeal to keep going on the path the Guru has shown.
Abiding to this wonderful tradition, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan holds numerous insightful spiritual events. One of the events is the monthly congregation held at various branches of the organization. Disciples await and attend this monthly event at their corresponding branch because it is the time to gain wisdom, gather inspirations, and grasp godly love. It is here that they have the opportunity to wash away month-long troubles and doubts. The gathering is no ordinary mass; it holds the ability to charge up its attendees to accomplish their daring goals.
During January of 2016, nationwide branches held the event welcoming all devotees and followers. Various branches such as Dabwali Malko Ki (Punjab), Chakan (Maharashtra), Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Phillaur (Punjab), Rudrapur (Uttarakhand) were seen being drenched in the colors of spirituality. From children to middle aged and to elderly attended the program. From students to working class, to professionals as well as retirees were inspired from the event. All gathered to spend their valuable time singing praises of the Lord, and devour nectars of spirituality.
Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, founder and head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, is the foundation behind the spiritual inspirations being rendered at these events. It is with His guidance that the organization has spread not just throughout the nation but also throughout the world. His goal of world peace does not seem distant when one witnesses such events being held in a timely manner. Due to His benign grace the Vedic traditions are being practiced and taught to the next generations.
At the congregations, many booths displaying numerous other social and spiritual initiatives of DJJS were seen. There are many projects currently being run by organization’s selfless volunteers, for example, one never fails to notice the Antardrishti stall at the events. Antardrishti- the project for visually and physically impaired serves by providing them work opportunities, allowing them to stand tall and proud on their own feet. These special people make products such as candles, soaps, etc. which are further sold by DJJS volunteers, to raise revenue and help them earn their living. As evident in the pictures above, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan continues to make a difference in the country, one citizen at a time.
