Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) - a non-government, non-profit and a leading socio- spiritual organization, head and founded by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, organized an event of Monthly Spiritual Congregation on Sunday, 8th April 2018 in Nurmahal Ashram, Jalandhar, Punjab. Hundreds of disciples, who were present during the event, experienced the blissful vibrations of the spiritual discourses and devotional songs, with the benign grace of Maharaj Ji.
In the world today everyone desires the experience of freedom. Intellectual and hardworking people make efforts for time freedom and money freedom. In the history of India, countless number of people, directly or indirectly have been a part of Indian Freedom Struggle. But humankind easily forgets that God has sent us on this Planet Earth for Spiritual Freedom (to be free from the cycle of birth and death). Our scriptures reveal that in the path to attain spiritual freedom, the prime requirement is to be blessed with the benign grace of a Perfect Spiritual Master, who can bestow upon us Divine-Knowledge and show us the practical vision of divinity within us that will eventually lead to salvation and evolve us as spiritually free individuals.
The event commenced with the holy prayer at the lotus feet of our revered Gurudev. Series of melodious and thought provoking spiritual songs provided the understanding of the supreme purpose of life, and at the same time alerted them how precious the time factor is, which once lost can never be regained.
Devoted disciples and DJJS Preachers shared their invaluable experience and life- changing thoughts. Like any other path of freedom, the path of Spiritual freedom is too filled with many difficulties and challenges, but those who keep on moving forward get the inward strength from the Divine that enables them to make the efforts continuously to be the eventual winners.
Disciples participated in the group meditation and chanting and recitation of the holy name of Gurudev. Audience felt immense peace of mind, body and soul. The state of thoughtlessness while meditating helped people to cleanse the mind so that the positive and motivational vibrations can find place in the otherwise tumultuous mind. The state of meditation helps people to rejuvenate the physical equipment while activating all chakras and align them to the Supreme Consciousness. Meditation works as a bridge between the hearts of disciples and lotus feet of revered Gurudev, each prayer from heart directly reaches the graceful feet of lord and shows us right direction in life.
