It was really an amazing moment to witness when a mother offered the bottle of water to a child during the painting session and the child refused to accept it after having painted the bottle of alcohol on a sheat by seeking the guidance from his mother. He then exclaimed, ‘mama...bottles must be abandoned, as it is bad’. The innocence of the child was further dealt with clarification, as to what actually makes such bottles worth avoiding. It was then justifiably conveyed to them saying bottles containing intoxicating beverages are bad. seeing this the mother came to the preachers of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan during the painting activity ‘paint with your child’ held by rohini sec 15 branch under the banner of its social initiative bodh the drug abuse eradication program. In the present times, due to busy schedules and packed lives, parents dont get adequate time to spend with their children.
Due to which, they naturally don't get to let them know about various truths and challenges of life. For instance, how to say no to drugs, how to not get influenced by others, how to see things thoughtfully and take right decisions. In order to bridge the gap, we invited all the mothers along with their children to paint on a given theme. here the task of thinking went to the mother and the task of drawing was credited to the child. Such a rejuvenating task again gave scope to the fading relation of the children and their parents as parents were asked to sit with their children and guide them thoroughly. all the people along with the visitors appreciated the program and also invited the organization to conduct such programs more so as to get the parent child relationship strong and strengthened.
