A monthly spiritual congregation was held at Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s (DJJS) Nurmahal Ashram, Jalandhar, Punjab, on 12th December 2021. People from every age group attended the event in large numbers. The program began with the chanting of the Vedic Mantras. The event progressed with the singing of soothing devotional bhajans by the disciples of His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji (Founder and Head of DJJS). This was followed by insightful thoughts shared by Sadhvi Kalindi Bharti Ji and Swami Vishnudevanand Ji.

Sadhvi Ji urged the audience with an inspiring spiritual discourse to never doubt the vision of a true guru. She said that the vision of world peace through inner transformation will certainly be accomplished in time. Our endeavour is only to follow the path shown by the spiritual teacher sincerely. However, she said that sometimes the path of truthfulness can be rough. Negative thoughts tend to create disturbances in the mind. Our faith may flicker.
So, what can we do to save ourselves from falling into such a trap? She suggested that we must ardently pray and ask for strengthened faith. In such times, we must be steadfast in our meditation practice. Rather than finding the flaw in other people or the situation, we must focus on connecting with the Divine through the practice of ancient sacred knowledge (Brahm Gyan) bestowed by the True Spiritual Master.

Swami Ji further elaborated on this theme. He highlighted that when we align our inner self with the Divine, we achieve clarity to deal with outer chaos. It becomes easy for us to carry on with our spiritual progress in the face of adversities. Hence, we all need to follow spiritual commandments unflinchingly. These commandments create a protective shield against any hindrance, following which we achieve spiritual tranquility. The success of our spiritual efforts bears fruits when we remain without a doubt. It is only then that we can receive Guru’s grace wholeheartedly. The world will transform when we transform ourselves.
The event concluded with a meditation session, followed by the distribution of prasadam. The event received extensive coverage by print media, such as Frontline, Dainik Savera, Punjab Kesari, Uttam Hindu etc.
