Sanskarshala is one of its kind virtual workshops that are organized for children aged 4 to 12 years by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s holistic education program Manthan SVK.
The theme for August month’s Sanskarshala was Niyamit Sanskarshala. Consistency plays the greatest role in identifying every individual with unique characteristics. Practice is everything, regular application of repetitive practice is the price of mastery. Students were made to understand that when they practice repeatedly one day at a time it becomes a new habit of thoughts and actions. This slowly leads to living a healthily balanced lifestyle. Manthan SVK workshops imbibe values and ethics in children to help them nurture with morally strong and spiritually driven mindsets. In the month of August 2022, Manthan SVK held 28 sessions of Niyamit Sanskarshala across India. DJJS branches hosted these workshops at the centers, community halls, public-private schools etc., wherein approximately 1227 children participated.
In pursuit of the same, Niyamit Sanskarshala workshops were conducted in various states of India, like New Delhi, Uttar Pradesh State, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Karnataka and Rajasthan. The workshop was also organized at Avishkar The School, Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh and Rawat Public School, Shikarpur-Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh.
The sessions commenced with the chanting of Guru mantra and shlokas by the DJJS preachers and Manthan volunteers. Followed by thought provoking activities such as fun games, quizzes and interactive presentations on how important it is to maintain the discipline to eat healthy, think positive and to stay morally uprooted. To make the learning more fun and understandable, Manthan SVK volunteers addressed questions from the students during the sessions. Students participated with full zest. At the end, the children pledged that they would imbibe the values imparted and thanked the preachers of DJJS for organizing such an edifying workshop.
