According to health experts, eating up excess junk food is like sending an open invitation to a number of serious ailments like obesity, fatty liver, diabetes, hypertension, heart problems, and even cancer. 

To accentuate the negative effects of this unhealthy junk food and possible preventive measures for the same, DJJS Aarogya organised a health awareness workshop with the theme “No Junk, No Doctor” at Marathi School No.6, Jesal Park in Bhayandar, Maharashtra on August 7, 2022.

During the workshop, participants were sensitised by the experts about prevention of such diseases by avoiding junk food, eating balanced and nutritious meals, exercising regularly and adopting an overall healthy lifestyle. All this was presented through a series of live demonstrations, videos, and various fun-filled educational activities. 

This workshop and its lessons were appreciated7by more than 70 attendees, who directly benefited from it.
