Volunteering is no longer the same due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Across the world, it has impacted our daily lives. Educational institutions have been among the hardest hit. Overnight, lecture based sessions were made to move online without any warning or preparation. Both teachers and students are facing challenges. Manthan SVK, Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan’s holistic education initiative, is constantly striving for 360-Degree development of Manthanites. Naturally, we couldn’t ignore the all-round development of Manthan SVK teachers and volunteers; hence, the regular organisation of workshops for them.
One such Online Grooming workshop was conducted by Manthan SVK for its teachers and volunteers to brush up their technical and social skills on 12th October, 2020 (Monday). The first part of the session included the key points on how to use social media effectively and discussed the various mediums of social media (e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, YouTube etc.). The latter half had discussions centered on the Dos and Don’ts of Videography and Photography; the selection of the right area for shooting, stable camera, correct frame (background), clear audio, appropriate outfits, perfect oration, camera mode (portrait & landscape) etc. were also explained.
All benefited from this workshop and in future wished to continue the same. In the end, Manthan SVK team thanked His Holiness Sarv Shri Ashutosh Maharj Ji for giving them an opportunity to serve mankind and help the world to make a better place.
