Parents are the first society a child encounters and imbibes whatever his parents teach him/her. Thus, parenting is a very responsible role. Schooling pays an equal importance to the overall growth and development of the child, thus making the role of teachers equally special and important. Manthan – the holistic education program of DJJS (Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan) recognizes this fact and thus facilitates regular Parent Teacher Meeting (PTM) in various centres to encourage parity in the thought process of the teachers and the parents and lead to the overall growth and development of the students.
One such PTM was held in the Gurgaon centre on 9th Sep’16 where 64 Manthanites and 26 parents of 54 children attended it. To make this event more worthwhile, medicines (Zentel, liver, eye drops) and supplements (Calcium, Iron, Multi-vitamin) were distributed to all the children. Sadhvi Mahalaxmi Bharti Ji, Preacher DJJS had insightful conversation with the parents and she motivated them to visit the centre frequently and interact with the teachers.
Overall the session was a success and the parents appreciated the efforts of DJJS.
