Present-day employees struggle with long hours, office politics, strict deadlines, and job dissatisfaction, further leading to health issues, stress and tense relationships. Considering such ongoing tussles, a workshop named Gita-O-Logy was organized by PEACE Program of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) at India International Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi on 17th November 2024. Gita-O-Logy drew on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita’s wisdom to help working professionals balance their work and personal life.

Around 250 professionals from Dalmia Group, RailTel, IndianOil, Accenture, and Genpact attended the workshop which was led by the daughter disciples of Divya Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji. This was the first chapter in the new series of PEACE Workshops, solely based on ancient wisdom from Gita.

Sadhvi Dr. Nidhi Bharti Ji, Co-Principal Coordinator, PEACE Program, commenced the workshop with a session on workplace toxicity, highlighting its harmful effects on employees' physical and mental health. Through different on-stage activities and experiments, she illustrated how such toxic environments impact both personal and professional lives of an employee.

Sadhvi Tapeshwari Bharti Ji, Principal Coordinator, PEACE Program, also took a high-impact session. She said, “Shrimad Bhagavad Gita says, no one can steal your potential, your worth, your talent, your innate capacity to generate more ideas, your skill, your kaushal, your swadharm… That’s unique to you. And if someone copies your ideas, no matter, how perfectly they do, but they will be exposed in the long run. They will lose their dignity and reputation. So, even if others take your credit or opportunities, your distinct abilities will always set you apart. Stay focused on your swadharm and success will manifest.”

Sadhvi Ji also explained the concept of BrahmGyan’s Third Eye Meditation which is an ageless remedy to grapple with challenges prevailing on all fronts in life.

In both sessions, eye-opening concepts from Gita were presented with the help of practical activities, experiments, and demonstrations. This helped participants comprehend the intensity of issues, and they imbibed the remedies to deal with them in the long run.

The last session was based on Bhakti Yog Nasha. It was led by Sadhvi Ruchika Bharti Ji, Facilitator, PEACE Program, along with DJJS dance troupe. All the participants enthusiastically danced to the tunes of songs from Gita.

One of the participants from Dalmia Group said, “This workshop was a needed respite from the daily chaos of corporate life. The tools and techniques shared were rational.” A Senior Manager from IndianOil expressed, “Good concepts were shared on managing stress, building resilience, and cultivating positive relationships at work”. A professional from RailTel stated, “Gita-O-Logy workshop helped me connect with my inner self. I hope I will be now more focused.” Accenture’s Marketing Executive also shared, “This workshop helped me shift my perspective on stress and anxiety.”

On the whole, the workshop was successful in unfolding the relevance of Sanatan wisdom in the modern scenario, as participants found satisfactory answers with pragmatic solutions to their work-life related queries. They appreciated the workshop content and expressed willingness to actively implement those lessons in their lives.
