By the Grace of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, Founder and Head of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, a nine-day spiritual program Shrimad Bhagwat Katha was organized, from 11th – 19th Feb 2016, at Darbhanga, Bihar. Katha Vyas Sadhvi Aastha Bharti Ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji, enchanted the audience with her brilliant narration.
Life on earth has seen a constant battle between the good and the evil. Time and again the Supreme God has descended for the annihilation of the evil. Shrimad Bhagwat Katha recounts eight such incarnations of the Supreme Being in the form of Lord Krishna.
The text blends Spiritual Pearls such as: Bhakti, Dharma, and Moksha. The Gopis (milkmaids) epitomise the Bhakti of a disciple towards their Lord, displaying highest form of dedication and surrender. In return they triumph in experiencing Divine Love of their Lord for them. War scholar Prince Arjuna is stumbles upon misgiving about Dharma. Lord assumes the role of Arjuna’s charioteer to guide him to the path of Righteousness by delivering Bhagwat Gita.
It is through Self-Knowledge, Moksha (Liberation) is achieved. In the battle field, Krishna imparted Arjuna the eternal knowledge of Brahma Gyan by displaying the true form of Supreme Being. Arjuna recognises the significance of Nishkam Karma, treads the path of Dharma which leads him to Moksha.
After being touched by precious pearls, the audience also benefited from other offerings such as Prasad and various stalls displaying various initiatives of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. Eventually they also registered to obtain the most precious pearl of Brahma Gyan conferred by His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.
