"Sanskarshala" is a unique workshop revolving around value-based education through fun and interactive activities organized by DJJS. Two workshops were organized at villages Padampur and Bodhgaya, Bihar on 26th & 30th May, 2022 by Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji (Program coordinator, Manthan SVK) and Manthan SVK volunteers’ team from the Head Office, Delhi.
In these workshops, 100 children from Village Padampur, Saharsa and 125 from BodhGaya, Gaya, Bihar actively participated.
Often, parents, guardians responsible for the upbringing of a child, fail to inculcate the core values in children and most of all on how to make a child live in a happy state of mind. No medicine cures what happiness cannot – childhood development plays a key role in shaping the personality of every individual. “Sanskarshala” workshops strives to develop the moral, aesthetic, and spiritual aspects of children’s personality. In order to the sow the seeds of morality, time to time motivational orations is shared with the students of Manthan SVK. Keeping these points in mind, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji addressed the children on being praphullit (spirited) by inculcating good habits such as sharing, caring, respecting elders and by inculcating healthy communication with parents and teachers which in turn boosts childs’ self-esteem and sociability.
Various fun-filled and interactive activities were conducted for the children which were thoroughly enjoyed by one and all.
