The soul can never be cut to pieces by any weapon, nor burned by fire, nor moistened by water, nor withered by the wind” – Lord Krishna

Rejuvenation of Souls by The Divine Saga of Krishna in Baghapurana, Punjab

This message by Lord Krishna was echoed at Krishna Katha organized by Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan (DJJS) -a social and spiritual organization founded and headed by His Holiness Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.  For the revival of the souls in Baghapurana, Punjab a five-day Shri Krishna Katha was organized by DJJS from 23rd to 27th December 2017. This Katha was organized by the Moga Branch, Punjab.  The orator of this pious Katha was Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji, devoted disciple of Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj Ji.

The Katha commenced with sincere prayers in the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. Sadhvi Ji stressed upon the significance of human body, how nurturing it is so important to experience life. Likewise, it is equally important to nurture one’s soul, through rituals like spiritual discourses and regular meditation. Lord Krishna too very clearly mentions in Gita, the significance of human birth. The sole aim of human birth is to attain eternal salvation, by uniting with the divine source, which is the Brahm. Out of all the species, only human beings have been blessed with the power to experience this eternal and divine truth. Only through the blessings of the Lord can one attain this human body, which is priceless.

Katha Vyas Sadhvi Sumedha Bharti Ji shared multiple anecdotes from Lord Krishna’s life. She narrated how every action of Lord Krishna, holds some profound message for the mankind.

One such incident that touched the audience was that of Lord’s friend Sudama. The message behind this story too is very insightful. Lord does not value the price of the offerings, but the emotions and the level of devotion towards Him. He is always ready to shower His blessings on us humans, all we need is to pray in His lotus feet with true devotion and surrender.

This level of surrender and devotion can only be attained when we are in tune with Him and the only way to attune to the Lord is through the Eternal Science of Brahm Gyan.

Sadhvi Ji, beautifully narrated the Katha, spreading the divine message of Brahm Gyan to the masses at Baghapurana. The perfect synchronization of the well-orated shlokas and the rendition of melodious devotional bhajans created a Divine aura, thus attracting masses in large numbers, which kept increasing with each passing day. The event successfully concluded with divine prayers and a message of World Peace.
