"SANSKARSHALA" is a unique workshop revolving around value-based education through fun and interactive activities organised by DJJS. The recent Sanskarshala workshop was organized from 25th – 29th December, 2021 with 600+ children in attendance. It was conducted by the DJJS branches at Gurugram (Haryana), Ghaziabad (UP), Meerut (UP), Jodhpur (Rajasthan) and Vikaspuri, Pitampura, Sector-15, Patel Nagar, Karkardooma and Nehru Place areas in New Delhi.
The workshops followed set patterns and began with Om chanting and Namaste mudra. The children were explained the importance of these vedic values in our day to day lives. Among many interaction-based activities, these workshops also consisted of group discussions on true historical ideals, freedom fighters, ‘real heroes versus reel heroes’ and Indian culture. The children were also taught Vedic lessons that portrayed the morals and values imperative to lead a noble and virtuous life.
Manthan Sampoorna Vikas Kendra, social initiative of DJJS for the education of children, through its holistic learning approach is constantly striving to bring positive change in as many lives as possible. Sanskarshala workshops aim to attain this goal.
