Divya Jyoti Ved Mandir is a Vedic Culture-vivifying initiative conducting research on ancient Indian literature including Vedas, Puranas, etc. to unearth these knowledge reservoirs and spread the knowledge among masses. During the lockdown last year, DJVM began several Sanskrit Sambhaashan (Spoken Sanskrit) classes across India level with a vision to make Sanskrit an everyday language.

During these sessions, interactive ways of learning are adopted to create interest among the participants through simple and fun activities such as enumeration, cross-introduction, object introduction, inflection, short sentence-making, names of months, names of days, telling time in Sanskrit etc.

On 29th May 2021, a virtual Convocation Ceremony was organized for 11 recently concluded  batches of Sanskrit Sambhaashan. Over 1150 participants received their Certificates. The ceremony began with the invocation of blessings from our revered Gurudev Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji through Guru Stotram mantras. Various activities were also organised, comprising a short story in Sanskrit, comedy sketch, sentence framing etc. Participants shared their experiences in Sanskrit, about how these sessions have been useful in learning about the importance of the language and its preservation.
