Under ‘Aarogya’ the holistic health program of Divya Jyoti jagrati Sansthan, DJJS Bengaluru conducted ‘Sarve Santu Niramaya’- a workshop on holistic health with the students of ‘Umang Classes for performing Arts’ at #38, 2nd main, Best County-3, MS Palya, Bengaluru in Karnataka on 20th November 2017. Sadhvi Nishanka Bharti, disciple of His Holiness Shri Ashutosh Maharaj ji, took one and a half hour interactive session with 27 students from class 5th to 10th and their teachers. The program began with Om chanting and a prayer. Sadhvi Nishanka bharti ji basically sensitized the students the importance of balanced diet, exercise, discipline, daily prayers, and sound sleep to keep healthy body, mind & soul.

Sadhavi ji said we will not have overall good health if we don't take care of our mind as well. Good mental health helps us to enjoy life but also cope with problems. It offers a feeling of well-being and inner strength, just as we take care of our body by eating right and exercising, we can do things to protect our mental health. In fact, eating right and exercising along with meditation can help to maintain good mental health. She stressed on maintaining purity of mind and elucidated the difference between positive thoughts and negative thoughts. She also said that one must have a high goal in life so that our mind is focussed towards something higher in life. Sadhvi Ji also emphasised on the importance and benefits of vegetarian food.
