Even after 73 years of independence of India, the entire year when we see rapes occurring, kidnappings, road rages, killing, molestation,  we are filled with innumerable questions  and doubts as are we really independent or not and if yes, then is this the Independence we were seeking ?

'Seek Freedom Holistically' - Bodh, DJJS echoed the mantra on 73rd Independence Day in 10 States

These questions have been hovering over our heads since long, which we want to address neither on personal, social or national level, as they haunt us and remind us of our failures even after 73 years of independence.

But does that mean, we should stop celebrating ‘the day’ for which our own people fought for centuries and gave their life away with smiles on their faces.  The straight answer is ‘no’, reason being every country has problems but a nation is known or termed as successful not by its problems but by the solutions that its countrymen bring forth. And the first and easiest way to discover such a solution is to find the root cause of the distortions that persist deeply in all the structures on which a country stands.

'Seek Freedom Holistically' - Bodh, DJJS echoed the mantra on 73rd Independence Day in 10 States

And externally the reason may seem many, but it is the human mind that is the root cause of all the problems. We got freedom but failed to understand it in its holistic way. External freedom is a reflection of internal freedom. Today we are physically free but our mind is still a slave. This mind is slave to greed, lust, selfishness, pride and what not. Therefore this internal slavery is reflected in the form of rape, molestation, inequality, corruption, drug abuse, stress, environmental imbalance etc.

Therefore, if we really want to uproot the problem we need to fix the human mind set.

We need to make human, which is an important and responsible entity in the ecosystem, be aware about its accountability towards its actions and thought processes.

He has to be reminded of his importance and how he is a responsible link of the society, aware of his thought processes and his accountability to the society.

And as an accountable entity of the nation, we,  Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan as an organization, under its social initiative,  'Bodh'- a program that solely works on the eradication of drug abuse and its addiction across the nation, took up the duty and made planning to reach out people of different strata , background and geographical settings.

For this, programs of multifaceted nature are being conducted at various areas in more than 10 states of India viz.a.viz. Rajasthan, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Delhi and Uttarakhand.  These programs are weaved with activities like quiz, presentations, stage theatre, choreographies, themed bailey, rallies, school workshops, educative desk activities, signature campaigns etc. for disseminating the message of patriotism and inner independence.

Each year while conducting such programs we reach out and benefits up to 60-70 thousand people with our activities including women, youth, children, men in rural, semi urban, urban and metropolitan set ups.
