On 1st and 2nd February 2017, Manthan centers; PARSAUNI and PADAMPUR situated in Bihar, celebrated the day of Goddess Saraswati, the Goddess of learning, wisdom, knowledge, arts, science and technology.
On this auspicious day, Manthan centers at Bihar, offered prayers to the Goddess of Knowledge, Maa Saraswati. The day was celebrated with all children, parents and teachers.
The program started with the lamp lightening by Sadhvi Sharwani Bharti ji, disciple of Shri Ashutosh Ji Maharaj, head and founder of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan. The statue of Maa Saraswati was well decorated in yellow attire by the students. Thereafter everyone worshipped and offered prayers to the Goddess seeking knowledge and wisdom to be a good human being. In evening, prayers as sandhya aarti and other cultural programs were performed.
Sadhvi ji also interacted with the children and discussed the significance of the day and its real meaning in practical life. She also addressed the parents and villagers stressing on the importance of education. The first day celebrations were winded up by Prasad distribution.
The second day celebrations comprised of a grand peace March (shobha yatra) in which approx. 215 children and villagers participated. Awareness on streets was spread on relevant topics related to education and healthy living practices. Students enjoyed the festival with great excitement and learning.
