Shiksha Ka Bhartiyakaran Dialog held at Kumbh, Prayagraj Emphasized Practical Learning of Vedic Teachings

Theory without practical is blind-following, similarly the vedic teachings unless practically experienced are of little relevance. The significance of the vedic heritage throughout the nation and beyond was discussed during “Shiksha ka Bhartiyakaran”  a discussion on Vedic teachings in today’s society, held on February 7, 2019 at the Parmarth Niketan Camp in the Kumbh Mela, Prayagraj.  As an honorable invited speaker, Sadhvi Deepa Bharti Ji, representative of Divya Jyoti Jagrati Sansthan, addressed the listeners with the endless knowledge that Bharat has to offer.

All sectors of the society, all fields of the nation and all realms of the world can be covered with the amount of knowledge this country provides, thanks to its ancient scriptural accrual. Sadhvi Ji furthermore stated that all knowledge, ancient and contemporary alike, descends upon practical experiences, just as all science is based on the application of the theoretical knowledge. This logic is applicable equally if not more in modern context as well. So by realizing the true knowledge (Brahm Gyan), one must complete the education in real sense. She mentioned that a comprehensive approach to gaining any knowledge is to obtain it through a perfect master of that knowledge. Same principle applies to divine knowledge as well. Our rich Bhartiya heritage projects numerous examples of pupils gaining this very knowledge from their revered divine masters, complementing the custom of Guru Shishya Parampara. Such divine beings descended upon the earth to do just that - enlightened the ignorant individuals.

She then explained that the world seeks from this very land, Bharat, to gain all wisdom and divinity historically as well as presently. This wisdom has only been nurtured through the practice of true spirituality in the form of the ancient practice of ‘Brahm Gyan’. This particular practice enables one to realize all scriptures deep within the core of the spirit. Comprehension of all theory is possible through this self realization after which the pupil can relate to the depth-filled verses of the vedas and various other scriptures. Sadhvi Ji explained that through this knowledge spiritual personalities shape the society, the community, the nation, as well as the world into the light emitting radiating dispositions. These shining lights are able to work for others selflessly abiding by the dictum of “Vasudhev Kutumbkam”. Owing to this realization that individuals are able to connect to the source of the eternal wisdom, gain the right direction, and make the righteous decisions in life fulfilling the purpose of human life.
